First Horizon Europe calls for proposals are now open

Today the first Horizon Europe calls for proposals have been launched on the EU Funding and Tenders Portal.

Last week the European Commission adopted the Horizon Europe’s main work programme for the period 2021-2022, announcing €14.7 billion of EU funding to support the transition to a greener, fairer and more digital EU.

The European Research Executive Agency will play a key role in the implementation of this ambitious investment package, by managing around 5.7 billion under Horizon Europe in the next two years.

These investments will support ground-breaking research and digital solutions for a healthier planet, more secure and inclusive societies, access to research infrastructures, support to top researchers in Europe and beyond.
