Description
Cancer is a top priority of the European Commission and is one of the research and innovation missions under the Horizon Europe framework programme.
The MSCA Cancer Cluster event included projects addressing the needs identified by the Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan and the main thematic priorities indicated in EC Health Commissioner Stella Kyriakides’ mission letter, i.e. prevention, early diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
The MSCA Cancer Cluster event’s main objectives were to:
showcase the excellence of MSCA researchers and their contribution in the area of cancer research and innovation;
promote discussion and collect information to provide coordinated input to the relevant EU policy-making services;
enhance synergies among projects and stimulate networking opportunities, especially among MSCA researchers.
