From 10:00 – 18:00 (CEST), join us in Village 1: STRENGTHENING OUR DEMOCRACY at the Berlaymont Building to discover EU-funded research managed by the European Research Executive Agency (REA).
Connect with the researchers driving the EITHOS project, who are working on strategies to tackle online identity theft. The project is developing an observatory that will monitor and counter identity theft. It aims to identify and address challenges that police authorities face regarding identity theft and develop AI-based tools to enhance their investigations. At the same time, it is informing citizens via awareness campaigns and describing common identity theft methods. Come and test these deep-fake tools!
You will also be able to explore the world of citizen science, as a collection of successful EU projects will also presented by the EU Publications Office. Find out how, as a citizen, you can be involved in cutting-edge research!
