The aim of the event is to present a new EFI study on Forest Biodiversity in Europe assessing main threats and trends while discussing management options and policy instruments to govern biodiversity conservation in Europe.

The role of biorefineries in European agriculture, with the participation of WalNUT project
The aim of the conference is to highlighting the current research innovations in six main Biorefine’s domains related to sustainable resource management and circular economy systems: nutrient recycling and recovery, renewable energy, water recovery and use, biomaterials & eco-design, biochemicals and value chain assessment.The WalNUT project will be presented in the afternoon session on May 31st at 4 pm and will focus on finding resource-oriented solutions for water recovery and reuse.

The project will present practices and resources that can foster the deployment of carbon farming linked to sustainable grassland management practices and circular agro-food systems in Europe.

Implementation of Data Analytics for a sustainable and climate-resilient Agriculture 4.0, by VitiGEOSS project
