EU funded research and innovation strives to reverse biodiversity loss and contribute to nature restoration
From software to detect drugs at borders, to assets that surveil maritime trade, to tools that prevent online trafficking– these EU-funded projects are contributing to the aims of World Drug Day.
By turns admired and reviled, bats are one of the most mysterious mammals alive. Their nocturnal habits and unique adaptations mean that bats' biology still holds many secrets.
The 51 projects recently signed their grant agreements with the European Commission. The projects will begin their research by the end of the year.
9 -12 June the Festival will explore the New European Bauhaus values of beauty, sustainability and togetherness. It will showcase research projects managed by REA, live in Brussels with free admission for the general public as well as online.
