The Mission ‘A Soil Deal for Europe’ is an ambitious, innovative instrument launched in 2021 by the European Commission to accelerate the development and large-scale deployment of solutions for sustainable land and soil management as part of a wider, green transition.

17 new research projects are receiving €90 million funding to contribute to the EU Mission ‘A Soil Deal for Europe’. The projects gather 314 participants from 32 countries to deliver a wide variety of benefits for the restoration and protection of soil by 2030.
