Horizon 2020 projects on nature-based solutions managed by REA will take part in the exhibition. They will also showcase the impact of their research and will answer questions of visitors at the EU pavillion during their five sessions:
4 September:
“How can nature-based solutions help restore (urban) ecosystems? Perspectives and resources from EU-funded projects”, by Horizon 2020 projects Network Nature with Connecting Nature, Urban GreenUP, UNaLab and Regreen.
5 September:
“Understanding the multiple benefits of nature-based solutions impact assessment framework”, with Horizon 2020 projects Network Nature, Unalab, Phusicos, Connecting Nature and Urban Green Up.
7 September:
“From nature-based solutions to a nature-based economy”, with Horizon 2020 projects Network Nature, Connecting Nature, Clearing House and Urban Green Up.
“Lessons learnt from co-creating Nature-based Solutions in Living Labs”, with Horizon 2020 projects Network Nature, CleverCities, Phusicos and Urbinat.
“CitiesWithNature - Then, now and what next? Thinking Big. In conversation with IUCN, The Nature Conservancy, OFB and ICLEI”, with H2020 projects Connecting Nature and Network Nature.

The Congress, for the first time hybrid, will drive action on nature-based recovery, climate change and biodiversity.
The IUCN World Conservation Congress gathers government, civil society and indigenous peoples’ Member organisations to vote on major issues, action which guides humanity’s relationship with our planet for the decades ahead.
