Renewable materials and healthy environments research and innovation centre of excellence
The EU-funded InnoRenew CoE is a research institute that designed and constructed the largest wooden building in Slovenia following restorative environmental and ergonomic design principles. The institute has become a hub for a future-oriented scientific and industrial community focused on sustainable building with renewable materials.
The initiative will be represented in the FORUM, in the Transforming our built environment: key challenges and opportunities panel discussion, by Dr. Andreja Kutnar, Professor of Wood Science and Director of InnoRenew CoE.
InnoRenew CoE is also a finalist in the New European Bauhaus Prizes 2024. You can cast your vote by 27 March 2024, 18:00 CET!
Hubs of innovation and entrepreneurship for the transformation of Historic Urban Areas
The HUB-IN project aims to establish innovation and entrepreneurship hubs in eight Historic Urban Areas, with the goal of revitalizing historic heritage and creating sustainable opportunities for local traditional businesses through job creation.
The EU-funded project will participate in the FAIR with a dedicated stand, presenting their engaging journey through 8 pilot cities.
Inclusive health and wellbeing in small and medium size cities
The IN-HABIT project will be active in one of the satellite events taking place in Cordoba, Spain: FACTS. Back to basics: water, peace, calm. The event is scheduled for 11-13 March, following the model of the main New European Bauhaus event in Brussels – with a forum, fair, fest and satellite events.
As part of the Cordoba event, IN-HABIT is organising a video screening with the winners of the Entreplanos contest and a colloquium with the jury members. Other possible activities are foreseen.
