Description
This year’s event is particularly special, as we celebrate 40 years of the EU’s Research and Innovation Framework Programmeswith a journey through successful projects and their societal impact. Attend to also partake in discussions on how research can build a greener, fairer, and more inclusive Europe.
The fifth edition will take place on 20 and 21 March both in Brussels and online. The R&I Days will be part of the European Research and Innovation Week, taking place on 18 to 21 March.
The European Research Executive Agency (REA) will be present at events organised as part of both the Week and the R&I Days:
Visit our Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions stand
The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) stand will be present for the duration of the Week as well as at the R&I Days. The stand will showcase the added-value of the MSCA for European research as we highlight the numerous Nobel Prize Laureates associated with the programme. Visit us to learn about this programme for researchers!
Meet projects at the Exhibition Space

ASSISTANCE developed and tested various data-gathering devices, such as smart wearables, robots and drones to improve response to emergency in any given disaster.
The CLAIM project, which will present its technologies that can be easily used in waste water treatment plants and industries, in line with the objectives of Mission Ocean.
VIDIS produced new low-cost sensors to monitor air quality and initiated the development of the VIDIS Centre, an internationally-recognised hub for research and innovation in air quality monitoring.
Attend sessions with REA projects

From this, they will work on recommendations to improve safety, inclusivity, and protections for victims. The projects will be at the session "Towards a European Research Area Free from Gender-based Violence in Science" on 21 March at 16:40 (Workshop 2).
