For the first Horizon Europe security research calls, the European Research Executive Agency (REA) received 230 proposals by the deadline on the 23rd of November. The total requested funding was over € 1 billion.

2524 partners from 56 countries have submitted  1077 proposals to the HORIZON-MSCA-2021-DN-01 call. The selection results will be announced by mid-April 2022.

Applicants to the seven calls have requested over three times more the total budget available. Evaluations start next week, and the successful projects will be communicated before March 2022.
