MSCA Cluster event on Green Deal research and innovation – 6 and 7 July 2021

Experts, MSCA researchers and EC policy-makers will discuss how to improve EU policies to fight climate change and environmental degradation.

On 6-7 July 2021, the European Research Executive Agency is organising a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) cluster event on the European Green Deal, in collaboration with the European Commission's Directorate-General Education, Youth, Sport and Culture.

Over 80 MSCA and 17 other European Green Deal related projects managed by the REA and other EU bodies will present their research outcomes across six scientific panels:

  • Biodiversity
  • Sustainable agriculture and soil health
  • Clean energy
  • Eliminating Pollution
  • Climate Action
  • Green Transport

During the two-day event, eminent subject matter experts, MSCA researchers and European Commission policy-makers will exchange ideas on how to improve EU policies in the fight against climate change and environmental degradation.

Deputy Director-General for Climate Action at the European Commission, Clara de la Torre, and Director-General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture, Themis Christophidou, will be among the plenary speakers.
