The programme, handled by REA, will make available €61.5 million to fund projects covering an array of activities ranging from facilitating institutional transformations and reforms, improving career opportunities and training for researchers, boosting exploitation of results, while enhancing Europe’s R&I through actions targeting open science, science education, gender equality, ethics and research integrity.
Projects will be assessed with the support of external independent evaluators drawn from the European Commission database of experts.
Evaluations are expected to start in October 2021 and the selection results will be known in February 2022. REA will have signed grant agreements with all successful applicants by May 2022.
