The Culture, Creativity and Inclusive Society programme, handled by REA, makes €158 million available to fund research and innovation projects for social, economic, technological and cultural transformations towards healthier democracies, where cultural values are protected. The table below shows the number of project proposals received per destination.

Projects will be assessed with the support of external independent evaluators drawn from the European Commission database of experts.
Evaluations are expected to start in October 2021 and the selection results will be known in February 2022. REA will sign grant agreements with all successful applicants by May 2022.
