Following the AGRIP SIMPLE Call for Proposals which closed on 11 May, the Commission has adopted a decision on the programmes that will be funded. Project applications were assessed with the support of independent external expert evaluators, drawn from the European Commission’s database of experts.
The EU co-financing amounts to 113.663.942,00 € for a total of 52 proposals which made it to the main list. As the competition was high, 12 proposals have been placed on the reserve list and 78 were rejected.
Applicants will be informed of the outcome by the national authorities in charge of the promotion of agricultural products in their Member State. They will also launch the signature of the grant agreements with successful applicants.
The selected campaigns are in line with the ambitions of the European Green Deal, and many of them promote organic products, EU sustainable agriculture, and the role of the agri-food sector in terms of climate action and the environment. Campaigns will also highlight the high safety standards of EU agri-food products, as well as the diverse and traditional range of products supported by the EU quality schemes.
