Following the 2022 AGRIP call for proposals for simple programmes, which closed on 21 April, the European Commision has adopted a decision on the programmes that will be funded. The EU’s co-financing will amount to EUR 85 million for 55 proposals, which made it to the main list.

Project applications were assessed with the support of independent external expert evaluators, drawn from the European Commission’s database of experts.

Applicants will be informed of the outcome by the national authorities in charge of the promotion of agricultural products in their Member State. They will also launch the signature of the grant agreements with successful applicants.

The selected campaigns are in line with the key policy priorities of the European Commission. These include boosting the competitiveness of the EU agri-food sector whilst contributing to the European Green Deal, the Farm to Fork strategy and Europe’s beating cancer plan. In addition, the campaigns selected will also contribute to the objectives of the  EU organic action plan and the Communication on the European citizens' initiative ‘End the cage age’. Campaigns will highlight the high safety standards of EU agri-food products, as well as the diverse and traditional range of products supported by EU quality schemes.
