Under Horizon Europe, the European Commission supports universities, other higher education institutions and research institutes to contribute to the EU Missions’ objectives by: becoming designers and managers of transdisciplinary research and innovation projects, and knowledge transfer hubs; taking up research outputs; developing strategies along the axes of ‘research and innovation’, ‘education, training and skills’, and ‘public engagement and societal impact’.
