MSCA European Green Deal Cluster event

How can Research & Innovation help achieve climate neutrality?

On 6-7 July 2021, the European Research Executive Agency organised a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) cluster event on the European Green Deal, in collaboration with the European Commission's Directorate-General Education, Youth, Sport and Culture.

About 90 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) and 17 other European Green Deal related EU-funded projects presented their research across six scientific panels:

  • Biodiversity
  • Sustainable agriculture and soil health
  • Clean energy
  • Eliminating Pollution
  • Climate Action
  • Green Transport

During the two-day event, MSCA researchers and other subject matter experts discussed with European Commission policy-makers ways to improve EU policies in the fight against climate change and environmental degradation.
