The session will feature short interventions from the speakers, starting with GEANT presenting the European perspective on research connectivity infrastructure and its role in facilitating access to EO data and services, followed by ASREN highlighting challenges and opportunities for EO access across Africa through regional research and education networks (RRENs). Space4GEO Alliance will then address capacity-building and skills development gaps, showcasing coordinated actions underway. Finally, the SPACE4GEO Body of Knowledge will present tools designed to bridge the skills gap and support the community with training and workforce resources.
