This online information session was targeted at potential applicants for the call for proposals MSCA and Citizens 2022 HORIZON-MSCA-2022-CITIZENS-01 (European Researchers’ Night).
What is the purpose of the call for proposals?
The European Researchers’ Night aims to bring research and researchers closer to the public. It is an opportunity to increase awareness of research and innovation activities by:
- Promoting excellent research projects across Europe and beyond.
- Raising the interest of young people in science and research careers.
- Showcasing the impact of researchers’ work on people’s daily lives.
The European Researchers’ Night further aims at bringing researchers to schools to strengthen the connection between research and education. It will thus support school teachers in developing a scientific approach around priority areas. It will also create a learning opportunity for pupils through direct interaction with researchers.
Who can apply?
Universities, research centres, civil society organisations and other legal entities across Europe and the Associated Countries. Entities were invited to submit proposals for the organisation of events by 7 October 2021. Around €15.5 million is be available under the call.
